Insulation is one of the most important processes in building an ice brick pool. If the insulation of the salt water pool is not done well, there will be water leakage and cold leakage, which will directly damage the bottom of the salt water pool, make the ice making process impossible, and even endanger the building body, and the building body may crack or even collapse.
CBFI starts with the following thermal insulation process details, and fully escorts the firmness and durability of the ice brick pool!
The brine tank is the most important bearing device for ice production, where brine storage, ice film placement, ice production and deicing are all carried out. The insulation process of the salt water pool is the top priority.
The insulation of the ice spring salt water pool has the following procedures.
Bottom layer: waterproof layer

If it is not waterproof, the cooling capacity will leak from the pool (cooling leakage). The leaked cold meets the water flowing from all sides of the pool and freezes. The more the cooling capacity leaks, the wider the freezing area will be, which will damage the ice pool and brick wall, destroy the building, and cause losses.
Second layer: insulation layer
Wrap the three-layer extruded board with moisture-proof plastic film or directly spray polyester ammonia as the second layer of insulation
Three layers: plain cement layer
Lay a layer of plain cement for insulation

Polyester ammonia foam is used for heat preservation around the salt water pool, so that the heat preservation of the surrounding and the bottom is seamlessly connected to ensure the heat preservation effect.
Advantages of this process:
1. The foaming agent is completely fused and connected with the insulation layer under the ice pool, which strengthens the insulation layer under the ice pool, and no longer worry about the problem of cold and water leakage
2. The foaming agent fills the gap between the brick wall and the steel plate, improving the thermal insulation of the side

CBFI designed and constructed a 100-ton salt water ice block pool for a Malaysian customer in 2010. Today, the ice block pool is still in normal use for ice production. It has been used for 12 years without any water leakage, cold leakage, or damage.
The customer was very satisfied with the one-time construction cost and it can be used for so long, and introduced his friend to CBFI. CBFI designed and constructed a 60-ton large salt water ice plant project for his friend.
