First, let's briefly introduce R507 and R404A refrigerants. R507 is a hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) refrigerant that has been widely used in air conditioning and refrigeration systems for many years. However, due to its potential adverse impact on the ozone layer, R507 has been phased out in many countries and replaced by more environmentally friendly alternatives. R404A is a blend of hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants that has a low ozone depletion potential and a high global warming potential.
